The structural ridgeline is used to set the sag of your hammock.
The fixed ridgeline works best if you only use one hammock and know how long you want your ridgeline to be.
The recommended length is 83% of the length of your hammock length. So, if you have a 10 ft hammock, choose the 10 ft length and the ridgeline will be 83% of that length, that is 100".

Steve Purchased this, Jared worked on correcting my order that I messed up (big props for direct customer support!) and I had this within a couple of days to set up on my ENO SuperSub 9.5'. Works amazingly well, and transforms that otherwise small, cramped hammock into something of a proper lay. Already planning out pulling the trigger on a new hammock from SLD, and a few other odds and ends. Should be a great season ahead!
